Model and class FAQs (Cost at the bottom)

Your model isn’t just there to be drawn; he’s a conversation piece and has even been known to speak (especially if he's your tutor!) …. So feel free to chat, query or tease. He won’t butt in and will remain a perfect gentleman - just a naked one! It’s something the whole party will enjoy, remember for ages and you’ll take away works of art to keep too! Once asked to entertain Channel 4's Come Dine With Me sadly despite hours of filming (doing a handstand!) and helpless laughter they chickened out!

Hen parties are our speciality but we can provide also male or female models for mixed, female or male groups. We can even provide more than one model! We're totally happy to run sessions for gay hens or stags (why wouldn't we?). We've never had any problems but are especially protective of our female models for stag parties who will always be accompanied by a tutor - it's a chance for stags to be perfect gentlemen.

We've got a fun 'Life model user's manual' that gives a little more detail, some more ideas and has a few pointers to help your event knock some socks off :-)

Am I guaranteed a Chippendale? No, your model is just that, not a stripper or a body builder. It's a different job and needs other talents - and a different mind set. The models are fit, lean and do get a lot of compliments (especially for their bottoms) but he isn't a waxed, oiled up lump. He can hold a pose and decent conversation! If the pictures in the gallery aren't enough - they're small so the site loads faster - we can send more so you can check. The last time we did the number of hens went up from 12 to 18 :-)

Would you butler for a dinner party, coffee morning or afternoon tea?
No problem. We even know some excellent mobile caterers who can deliver the food without you having to lift a finger. You choose the butler's attire - the most popular is bowtie, small apron and a smile, but a bunny outfit is a close second. Your waiter can even transform to run another event and he's happy to serve at the start of drawing sessions.
There's even a fun 'Bare butler fact sheet'

Got a gay stag or mixed gathering to entertain?
It's obvious to us that men who like men might enjoy drawing a bloke so please don't hesitate to ask! We've no problem running a session for any group who would like to add some art to their plans whether all male, all female or mixed. We've found some dos can be a bit more boisterous than others... which is fine, that's where our fearless model comes in. He can handle a bit of heckling, swallow double entendres (groan) and play along with embarassing the groom or grooms. It's your party and well do our best to make it run your way.

What else can we do? Cakes, paint and naughtiness!
Life drawing is great fun and we have repeat hens who'll endorse that, but what if you've done it before or fancy something different? We can organise lots of other events and enjoy the variety too! We'll be be happy to arrange more activities - we've run Wacky Workouts, Prosecco Olympics, Glitter gluing, Charming Chocolaterie, Body Painting, Cup cake topping and we've just added a tutored '50 Shades of Fun' classy dominatrix course for groups who want to be quite naughty or very bossy! Read more

A bigger day, better value!
We can always combine events, they work very well for a day of fun and some are even funnier once you've met us in one mode and we then change into another - our poor model takes the brunt of this as no one takes him quite so seriously after they've put him in poses ;-)

Location
Drawing sessions can be held almost anywhere; halls, houses, hotels, pubs, clubs, tents, your home or even office are all possible. If you need help we can usually arrange a venue for you. As long as it's nice and cosy, and no one else will be upset, anywhere goes.

We travel the country from top to bottom as well as across our home range throughout Eastern Anglia; all over Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex and Cambridgeshire. Ipswich, Norwich, Cambridge, Colchester and Chelmsford are regular haunts. We've been all over - so just drop us a line if you want some life drawing wherever you are. Because we work all over the country (Scotland, Wales and Ireland too) we may be nearer than you think!

Cost
Quotes are always individual but, roughly speaking, the cost averages around £22.5 per head for typical gatherings of 12ish.
For larger groups we offer keen discounts but if you have a smaller party planned we'll do our very best too (normally with a minimum charge of £150). Most of our classes are model-led so a separate tutor (from £75) can add to the cost.  A deposit of £100 secures your event with the balance payable on the day, or by transfer in the week before to keep the event simple. Once we've agreed a price we'll stick to it and we hope you'll be happy to as well. If numbers change in the months before you event let us know and we'll see what we can do. If it's at the last minute we'll really sympathise but once everything is set it's the model who loses out so we hope you'll understand if we can't change at that point.

For classes that call for materials other than simple art supplies (such as pastel sets or chocolate!) that's an additional, reasonable cost.
